LOCATION

The coastal town of Filey sits between Scarborough and Bridlington in East Yorkshire. It started life as a fishing village but in the 18th century its wide, sandy beach became attractive to pleasure-seekers keen for a quieter alternative to Scarborough.

Whether you’re raising children or retiring, Filey is a wonderful place for breathing in the fresh Yorkshire air and making the most of life. Nestled at the northern end of the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail, the town has beautiful bay views and a wealth of things to do. It’s well connected thanks to its railway station on the Yorkshire Coast Line, with direct trains to York.

The historical seaside town of Whitby is a short drive north. Mill Meadows is conveniently located on Muston Road, just south of the centre of Filey and all its amenities, and directly across from Filey School.
